Interns will be encouraged to set and meet personal goals such as preparing case reports or scientific presentations.

2 positions November
Duration of internship: 12 months
Applicants should submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae with ID picture and name and details of 2 references. Documents can be send to email@example.com.
To be considered as an intern, candidates are asked to visit as an extern for one week (preferably Saturday-Saturday). Lodging is provided. Please fill in the booking form underneath and mention clearly for which position (November/July) you are applying or if you are available for both openings. Your booking will be accepted when we receive all your documents.
We accept 2 visitors at a time. One place (vacancy 1) is reserved for candidates for the internship. The second place (vacancy 2) is open to students and candidates (so if you don’t find a place on calendar vacancy 1 you can book on calendar vacancy 2). In general we limit the duration of the stay to 2 weeks.
Vacancy 1: Candidate Internship
As a Veterinary Medicine Student (or recent graduate) you are welcome to visit the clinic for a period of 1-2 weeks with a minimum of 7 days (weekend included). You will be included in the daily routine of the hospital and you will be able to passively participate in consultations, surgery, night duties and care for the hospitalized horses. Lodging is provided. A good knowledge of English is mandatory to be able to communicate with everyone.
Students from Liège and Ghent University can book longer periods (you will have to register multiple times) but therefore the amount of candidates accepted in one year is limited and your application might be refused even if the calendar shows availability. For periods longer then 4 weeks please contact the clinic by email for the organization.
Your externship is only definite if you receive a confirmation email. Please book your externship in the calendar vacancy 2 for students. Vacancy 1-calender is reserved for intern applicants. Unless you want to fill a place in the same month you are reserving a place (eg if someone cancelled last notice)
After booking the dates please send your ID card and a copy of your student card or diploma to firstname.lastname@example.org. You have to provide for your own health insurance if you are insured through your school and documents need to be filled in, please send them as well.
More information will be provided shortly after your externship has been booked
